Pure Ear Care acts solely as a booking agent for independently operated clinical providers (“Clinical Providers”).
Clinical Providers include:

  • Norwich Community Ear Care, and
  • Other approved and qualified ear care providers added in future.

Pure Ear Care handles booking and communication data only.
Clinical Providers handle all medical and clinical data.


2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data Pure Ear Care Collects (Bookings Only)

When you make an appointment, we collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Preferred appointment location
  • Appointment time/date
  • Deposit/payment information
  • General notes relevant to scheduling

We do not store or process clinical notes.


2.2 Information Collected by Clinical Providers (Clinical Data)

Your Clinical Provider (e.g., Norwich Community Ear Care) collects and stores:

  • Medical history relevant to ear care
  • Notes from your consultation
  • Findings from your examination
  • Treatment details
  • Any health-related disclosures you provide
  • Clinical consent forms

This information is handled under the provider’s own healthcare compliance obligations and is not stored by Pure Ear Care.


2.3 Information Collected Automatically

When visiting our website, we may collect:

This helps us improve the website experience.

Pure Ear Care processes booking data under:

Clinical Providers process medical data under:

  • Article 9(2)(h) – Provision of Healthcare
  • Legal obligation – maintaining clinical records
  • Public interest in healthcare

5. Sharing Your Information

We share booking information only with:

  • Norwich Community Ear Care
  • Other approved Clinical Providers (if allocated to your booking)
  • IT and booking system providers
  • Payment processors

Clinical Providers NEVER share your medical data with Pure Ear Care.

We do not sell your information.


6. Data Retention

  • Booking data: up to 2 years, unless legally required longer
  • Financial records: up to 7 years (HMRC requirement)
  • Clinical records (held by providers): as required by healthcare regulation, typically 8–10 years

  • Access personal data held by Pure Ear Care
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion (where lawful)
  • Withdraw consent
  • Object to processing
  • Request data portability

For clinical records, you must contact the Clinical Provider directly.
