These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made through Pure Ear Care.
By placing a booking, you agree to the terms below.
- Our Role as Booking Agent
1.1 Pure Ear Care acts strictly as a booking agent.
1.2 All appointments, assessments, and treatments are carried out by Norwich Community Ear Care and other approved Clinical Providers (“Clinical Providers”).
1.3 Clinical Providers operate independently and are solely responsible for the diagnosis, advice, treatment, and clinical decisions made during your appointment.
1.4 Norwich Community Ear Care and any additional Clinical Providers hold their own Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance, covering all work undertaken.
1.5 Pure Ear Care does not accept liability for:
Clinical outcomes
Clinical decisions
Medical complications
Injury, discomfort, or issues arising from treatment
1.6 Any clinical questions, concerns, or complaints relating directly to treatment must be directed to the Clinical Provider who carried out the appointment. - Appointment & Consultation Fee
2.1 A Clinical Provider will carry out all assessments and treatment.
2.2 If no ear wax is removed, the appointment is treated as a consultation only and a £32.50 consultation fee applies.
2.3 This covers the clinician’s time, examination, advice, and use of specialist medical equipment. - Deposits, Cancellations & Refunds
3.1 Cooling-Off Period (Distance Selling Regulations)
3.1.1 You may cancel within 14 days of booking for a full refund unless the appointment date falls within that 14-day period.
3.1.2 If the appointment is scheduled within 14 days of booking, the deposit is non-refundable, as you have requested the service to be performed within the statutory cooling-off window.
3.2 Cancellations Outside the Cooling-Off Period
3.2.1 Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice → deposit refunded.
3.2.2 Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice → deposit may be retained.
3.3 No-Show Policy
3.3.1 Failure to attend without notice → deposit retained.
3.4 Rescheduling
3.4.1 Rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment may require a new deposit. - Liability
4.1 All clinical responsibility lies with the Clinical Provider carrying out your appointment.
4.2 Pure Ear Care’s liability is limited solely to booking administration.
4.3 Pure Ear Care accepts no responsibility for:
Clinical decisions
Clinical outcomes
Side effects or complications
Advice or treatment provided
4.4 Clinical Providers hold their own PL and PI insurances. - Medical Safety & Disclosure
You must:
Provide accurate medical information
Disclose any ear conditions, infections, surgeries, or symptoms
Follow the clinician’s aftercare advice
Clinicians may decline treatment if it is not safe to proceed. - Personal Data & GDPR
6.1 Pure Ear Care collects only the data needed to manage your booking.
6.2 Clinical Providers manage your clinical records in accordance with UK GDPR healthcare standards.
